Contagion by Erin Bowman

4.0

So genuinely, this book popped by sci-fi virginity and ohh! how did I take so long to get into this genre? Ok listen, I love sci-fi in real life. It courses through my mind and gets me so excited.

This book got me excited. This book had me outside, in my living room, bundled up in a chair reading and angry at some of these characters, like absolute clear I cannot remember when last I was out loud quarreling with people.

In a book.

Everything was unraveling and it was oh so good! I held my breath so many times, I jumped so many times, and I was like so way people coming out of this very much NOT alive.

Spoiler Dylan ! DYLAN! She had me screaming in my mind, like what the fuck you doing? You cannot be so desperate to save your father that you want to fuck with everyone. Then she did. She totally lived up to my expectation of her.

Also, I still felt like the contagion wasn't really explained proper. Like microscopically, and I think this will be done a little more in depth in the next book, because I mean, who really had the time to look into a microscope through all this? I really did not expect those people to come back to life. REALLY NOT.

For my first, it was so good, I really loved it. I'm glad I listened to the whispers to read this, like now..
