Why Is Coco Orange? Coco and His Friends Solve This Mystery as They Learn about Air Quality by Melissa Payne

5.0

A charming story that teaches students about ozone and how it affects air quality. We also learn a little about chameleons! The illustrations by Lori Tussey include several witty details in the background to hold the attention of children and keep adults interested as they read along.

The story and pictures are identical in both editions, but the 2019 edition graciously lists the names of the illustrator and personal authors (left out of the 2010 edition) and includes an updated and more detailed bibliography of online resources at the end.
