I really enjoyed seeing Luke (from book 1) again and how the trauma from those events is still impacting him as an adult. A family tree might have helped with the inheritance plot and keeping all the characters straight. I liked the conclusion of the inheritance plot but I'm ambivalent about the epilogue reveal (didn't hate it but didn't love it either).
