The Displacements by Bruce Holsinger

5.0

idk if I'm just biased coming off a string of not so great reads, but holy cow this book was so good. One of the best I've read this year for sure. This book uses multiple narrators REALLY well: there are many facets of each character that are "hidden" from view until it's their turn to narrate. This book is also the perfect balance of dystopian and scarily believable. Not to mention, who doesn't love a sweet family redemption arc. Many twists and turns I didn't see coming, all-in-all a truly enjoyable read.

I also loved Holsingers "The Gifted School" as well, so maybe he's a must-buy author for me now.
