i read this book based on a recommendation from a person on instagram that i absolutely adore (@dronme). it's beautiful and poetic and weird and WOMEN am i right? nice short story format so my brain felt good. someone said that it's a strange, experimental, feminist collection that kinda dips its toes (ok i said the toes bit) into fantasy/magical realism. it was v lovely and, at times, v heavy to read, but i guess being a woman is also v lovely and, at times, v heavy to be. also there's an entire short story based on law and order: svu and my brain said DUN DUN. anyway. great read.
Graphic: Body shaming
