Persuasion by Jane Austen

5.0

I've read this book two times and it's probably my favorite Austen novel (besides P&P of course).

Anne manages to be a feministic character without seeming helpless, useless, or overly sorry for herself, and her ability to cope with her insane relatives is a Herculean feat. In addition, her and Wentworth's love story consists solely of her blowing his Victorian male mind every damn day and I am here for it. Their enduring love for each other makes me have faith in romance all over again.
