This is book 2 in The Vengeance Duet and is a fitting conclusion to the cliffhanger we were left with at the end of Lessons in Revenge.
In Stories of Betrayal, I enjoyed seeing more of the side characters who were given larger roles and more personality.
I enjoyed Val and Leo's evolving relationship and the spice was good.
There were a few plot points that left me scathing my head, but my feeling was that they may have been leading up to another book series.
Overtake, this is a "fun" dark mafia romance with an interesting plot and good spice. Read both in this series and you won't be disappointed.
