Karamo: My Story of Embracing Purpose, Healing, and Hope by Karamo Brown
5.0
Perhaps I was a bit biased towards loving this book, and I may not have loved it quite so much if I didn’t already respect the author so much, but I loved it none the less. Having a glimpse into the life and struggles of a figure that I admire was wonderful, and the stories he told kept me hooked.
If I took one thing away from the book, it was the idea that sometimes, people don’t have the language to communicate what they’re feeling. This concept was emphasized many times, and I’ve found it immensely applicable to my own life. Well done to Karamo, the educated rebel.
