Did not finish book. Stopped at 35%.

The MMC is literally a stalker, the FMC is pretty bland, her family are a caricature of "bad guys," and the pacing is way too quick. I couldn't become invested in the characters with how rapid-fire the book was moving and the plot is very bare bones. While I'm all for feel-good, cozy, low-stakes fantasy books, there does need to be some substance to make them worth my time. Also-and I cannot emphasize this enough-the main male lead is a stalker who has been obsessed with Iris for a decade. That's not cute.
