Stuffed: A Thanksgiving Romance by Jessica Gadziala

4.0

Callie is finally going home for Thanksgiving after 6 years of being unable to with college and work. She is quirky, a bookworm, and definitely needs a love life. She is curvy, loves potato chips, and has a massive crush on her brother's best friend, Adam, who happens to be coming to Thanksgiving.

This story gets awkward as she arrives home to find more than she bargained for. I like that we get Adam's pov, so I don't just assume he is a mindless male in the story. Adam's signals are slightly confusing, and I feel bad for Callie. But damn, the man can talk dirty. This book gets steamy as Adam makes the first moves.

I loved that Adam makes the grand gesture, and the characters stay true to themselves in the book. The author hinted at a jealousy thing early on and then abandoned it without explanation, but we eventually get the answer.

The book ends sweet and nerdy I love that the main character is a bookworm, and the guy doesn't care as long as she doesn't change, even though he is a catch. A lovely holiday read from fling to forever
