Vampire Knight, Vol. 2 by Matsuri Hino
5.0
I saw the tv show first, and once I found out it was based off a book (Graphic Novel/Magna), I decided to read the books like I do every time I find out a movie/tv show is based off a book. I thought the books were gonna be a little different than the tv show like most of the time, but I was Happily surprised. The books and tv show are equally as good, and both of them transferred me into the world of Yuki and Zero. From the 1st book, a startling secret was discovered, and the author did an Amazing, fantastic job in carrying out the story. I love the art, and how the author was able to express the characters, along with the story's plot. I especially love how Yuki constantly explains things to the reader. Amazing book. Highly recommended. And hope you read the books and the Tv show. P.S the tv show didn't do episodes based off of all the books. So if you want to know the true Ending to Vampire Knight, you have to read the books. That's another reason why I'm reading the books, I want to know the true ending to Vampire Knight, because they didn't air books 11-19 on tv. And stopped with season two with book 11. Recommended for all readers, who live books, vampires, ages 8+, and even for those who don't like Anime, I hated Anime two weeks ago, and now I'm obsessed with Anime after seeing this tv show. I know some Anime is "bad" but this book doesn't show any "bad" stuff and is appropriate for ages as young as 8 in my opinion, unless you count blood as bad. Then ages 10+ But every Vampire fan is gonna need to see blood. 5 Stars Highly Recommended, ages 8+ in my opinion. Great story line, love the Art, and Characters. Can't wait to finish all 19 books, and I'm currently on book 3 as I write this.
