Real score: 3.5/5
Sleeping Giants is a quick and easy read, that dives into the 'science' part of sci-fi without getting too technical. The characters are really well-built, more so than I thought getting into this, and all their decisions felt rooted and 'in character'.
As for the story, it has the potential to be something great (and since the story continues, I have no doubt it will be). I really love how it is told through interviews and files, and the author does this really well.
All in all, a really good book!
