Weird, grimy, and highly literary. Some of my favorite things. Grudova's prose took me on a dark journey into places where sewing machines are dangerous and literally anything can happen to the characters I'm reading. At their best these stories spin their own worlds into graceful punctuations of lost humanity. This was a very impressive collection of work.
