Love at First Fight by Carrie Aarons

1.0

my god, this was terrible. i don't even know what else i'm supposed to say about it, because from start to finish i didn't feel much of anything—positive—when it comes to anyone, and everything involved. for once, i am grateful for a short book—because lord knows i wouldn't have been able to stomach more than two hundred pages of whatever the hell “love at first fight” was.
the title, for example, is so misleading. where are these promised fights? i came into this expecting so much more, and was terribly let down by the lack of enemies to lovers it seemed to promise. male mc is a bitch to female mc because he's in love with her—what? why? did this story really need insta–love as well?—but can't have her because she is, was, with his best friend of all people. female mc shits sunshines and rainbows—she always acts perfectly civilized, even in the face of such unwarranted cruelty. i cannot even begin to tell you how irritating this was.
