I received an ARC of this book because Heather Garvin is a saint

I think I would kill for a man like Chase. Or at least a few chapters from his perspective. But maybe I don't want to ruin my imagination of his thoughts...

Also AMERICAN THIEVES MENTIONED?!?!

I love love love both Candace and Chase. Their banter had me screaming and blushing the whoooooole time! Every little inch they moved forward had me on the edge of my seat and I'm completely obsessed with them. If I read "what are friends for?" one more time though I may stab someone.

This book gives me the same feelings as a 2000s rom com when a girl comes walking down the stairs and the man just can't stop staring. Absolutely all the best feelings and I fell in love with Chase as badly as Candace.

The side characters were just as lovable too! Miles and Amanda were some amazing friends and I want them in my life immediately

Long story short, you can never go wrong with a Heather Garvin book and I will be giving her 5 stars until the day I die.
