Attached: The New Science of Adult Attachment and How It Can Help You Find and Keep Love by Amir Levine

2.5 stars.

I didn’t love how the author(s) showed extra sympathy towards ppl with anxious attachment style, but portrayed the avoidant attachment style as selfish and abusive people, all the while claiming there’s no good or bad attachment styles, only different needs. There’s just a distinct bias, which made people who have the avoidant style like myself, feel invalidated and unworthy of respect and love (effective communication ;). Also why were most examples of anxious AS women and avoidant men (ughhh the sexism). The good thing is, the book is short….and I guess I did learn more about intimate relationships.
