Tempest of Wrath and Vengeance by Melissa K. Roehrich
dark

3.5
This book was filled with things I loved and things I did not.
The first 60% of the book was so slow and honestly not much happened other than Tessa was being annoying. I struggled with her character in book 2 and was hoping her “villain era” would make up for it but she didn’t really do much actual villaining. She does have growth at the end of the book, but it’s like too little, too late in my opinion. Her being the love interest also kinda makes me not interested in the romance. Sometimes a relationship is toxic for too long and there isn’t really any coming back from it. I’m not saying Tessa irredeemable just that, for me, the friendships and relationships are beyond repair.
What I loved: Axel.
I’m still looking forward to seeing how this series wraps up in the final book next year. I do find the world and overall plot interesting
