A Pirate of Her Own, by Kinley MacGregor

4.0

I liked that the "pirate" was an honorable one. He had a dark past, but tried to fix it by freeing American slaves who were forced to work on ships. He never raped Serenity, which seems to common among historical pirate romance novels. That was refreshing. There were a few scenes that made me blush quite a bit, but I'm rather an innocent mind. I am a sucker for pirate romances, though, and this one was enjoyable. I finished it in a day.
