A wonderful book that I read with a young adult student. It is one of the best books covering mental illness that I have read. The alternating narratives between Caden's life at home and the hospital and then his imagined life on the ship make it so much more readable. It is also funny which helps the reader go deeper into the despair that Caden feels.
