Dark, bleak, blood-curdling, brilliant. AHH what a criminally underrated series. It’s a great study in the art of POV choice for one thing, but otherwise just an expertly-plotted dark dark fantasy book that never fails to feel fresh. 

Also it’s the one exception where normally when I’m loving an audiobook, I wish I was reading the physical - not in this case!! I’m obsessed with Lucy Paterson’s narration! I can’t imagine reading this series any other way
