What a great book, honestly! It’s such a tearful book that makes you get attached to the characters very well. While reading the book, the two characters that really helped me stay engaged and I found relatable are Agnes and her husband(who spoiled alert is William Shakespeare). Agnes was a great character that made me feel so intrigued by her personality. And as for her husband, the way he was written was just perfect because he was written with FLAWS!! The author didn’t put him on a pedestal and never referred to him as the man we know in history which made his relatability more engaging. Hamnet’s final thoughts are absolutely tearful and even though you expect his death, I was still shocked when he does die. Overall, writing was amazing and I couldn’t put the book down! 5/5 ✨✨✨✨✨
