Took me months to finish it. It was tedious I don't really know what I didn't like, I feel like it wasn't clear enough on how its world works, especially the magic parts. The characters could be good if the relationships were given more room to grow. I ended rooting for Tomas because I felt like he was the only one with an interesting story to tell, but even then it wasn't clear. I feel like some parts were rushed but too slow at the same time. 

Very confusing book for me, but it has potential, I'll give the rest of the series a tey to see where it goes.
