Do you ever just buy a book expecting the story to be very different than what it is? Well, that’s what happened with this book. I liked it but it wasn’t exactly the creepy ghost story I thought it would be and the mystery in it wasn’t as great as it could have been either. It’s a very quick read, set in Italy during the mid 60’s with various references to that era that were fun—which all give it positive points and made this historical fiction lover happy. However, for my last October read, which was meant to be mostly mysteries/thrillers, I give it a 3.5
