The Rest of Forever by Kate Aaron

I wished the story had been told from Paul's perspective; I think having him choose between his steady lover and his former best friend just come back in the picture and really the love of his life would have been more interesting... I think Paul had a hard choice to make and I would have liked to see how he made it.

That said... this is not the story. It is Jackson's perspective we have. A selfish guy who after thrashing the love his best friend gave him when they were kids has realized that he wants it now. I don't have a lot of tender feelings for him. I'm glad for Paul's that Jackson has come back to his senses, but I'm not sure choosing him is such a mature idea.

Now, I liked it, I always feel after writing something that I sound like I didn't like the read... So the narrator has flaws and he isn't this shining angel, I don't know a lot of people who are and that's probably why in the end I did feel for him and was happy he got his man.
