This is definitely in the running for my favourite arc so far, I think it may just be pulling ahead of the guild arc. Every fight in here was literally 10/10. The more I see of Tanizaki, the more I believe that he is absolutely crazy. Kunikida really deserves better since everyone seems to want to hurt him. I love the morally grey side of the agency coming out in this one, especially with Ranpo (SIDE NOTE: Him vs Chuuya was great, I really need to see how they got out of the book lol). Also, literally my favourite part (the highlight of this novel for me) was Fukuzawa and Mori but I won't get into it. All I'll say was that I was enjoying their dynamic and interactions way more than I should have. But perhaps my fave thing was just Fukuzawa and his father behaviours. Like "I have a child of my own to take care of." He's so father, I love that he just accepted it. In addition, the panels of Ranpo at Fukuzawa's bedsides made me horribly sad. But yeah, 10/10 volume, well worth the 5 stars.
