A Night of Southern Comfort, by Robin Covington

I’m conflicted about this one.
It was Incredibly short and with such angst going on it all felt like it turned around too quickly and was too neatly wrapped up to be in the least believable.
I picked this up as I had read a short story from this author in an anthology and liked the way she wrote.
There was nothing extraordinary in her writing style here and I was little disappointed however she surprised me a few times just when I though things were going down a predictable and cliched route she’d find a different way out of it so she gained a few points there. I’m not sure if I’ll pick up another by this author or not.
