This book just makes me hate Dara more. Incredible writing, but he’s an appalling person. Meanwhile, we get to look more at how Ali and Nahri have grown, which is incredible.

Also, having two separate coups in the last 100 pages is amazing but really a roller coaster. And Muntadhir’s little redemption arc is so amazing, if absolutely heart-wrenching.
