This was so much fun! I really want to try dnd now, and be better at sewing lol.
This book combines cosplay and dnd with themes of geek girl culture and trolling, and honestly it does it so well. The costume element was really visual and sounded amazing.
I also really enjoyed the way it showed how even supportive men can sometimes not understand some of the worst elements of being a girl online. All the characters do things they maybe shouldn’t, but I think the book deals with the fallout from it all pretty well.
Overall just pure fun even with the serious themes. Well worth a read
