The Brain: The Story of You by David Eagleman

Feels a bit like a school textbook in both its layout and the way it addresses the reader - not in itself a bad thing when you're trying to learn something new. There were lots of interesting facts and studies referenced, though I was left feeling like I wanted to know a lot more about the brain. Having said that, the book functions well as a non-threatening introduction to neuroscience.
