I love this series. The worldbuilding, the monsters, the plot twists, I love it all. My claim that this is Teen Wolf and Divergent mixed together still stands, especially with the plot development we get in this book. Winnie and Jay are such fun characters to read about and Winnie's group of friends are so supportive and sweet.
The plot thickens with the Dianas and I am so intrigued to learn more about where Winnie's dad has been all this time and Erica's involvement in whatever I assume her older sister did. I'm also looking forward to seeing the romance between Winnie and Jay continue because while moments are somewhat cringey because of the awkward teen flirtation, there are also a lot of adorable moments. Susan Dennard kept me engaged from page one to the very end, I read this within a day and now I really need the next book...
