this book was both incredibly long and short at the same time somehow. while the actual book only took place over less than 2 weeks, their romance felt extremely long and drawn out, but that’s not a negative in anyway. i loved the character dynamic and how even set in 1817 it still was able to be sort of modern and interesting. normally anything historical puts me to sleep but i really loved this book. the language was really good as well it didn’t feel too boring with historically accurate language and was still easy to read!
