A review by daybreak
Ces jours qui disparaissent, by Timothé Le Boucher

5.0

This is the scariest, most chilling, most terrifying story I've read to date in my life.

A masterpiece that squeezed my heart with fear, rage and a deep, deep sadness that is still trying to wrangle tears from me.

The philosophical themes on time, human nature, passion vs safety etc abound but even without delving into the subtext, the story in itself is already a real punch to the gut that will leave you reeling.

The best book that I never want to read again. A story that tore my heart apart and makes me oh so grateful for the time I have. Carpe diem
