This book reminded me of Just Like Heaven, it gave similar vibes. I loved Jillian's coworkers were a bit of an odd ball found family. I loved the banter with all the characters and the grief of being a survivor.

I did love the magical realism, but read this book when I was in a slump so I couldn't connect as much as possible.

I may continue this series when I am in a better mood, because any author that writes my favorite genre deserves my attention.
