This is a beautiful story about family, tradition, trust, friends, police corruption, and acceptance. I deeply loved the characters and the story that they went through. the character growth was written perfectly, and the descriptions were great!  I did feel like the middle/ climax of the book was a bit rushed, and that kind of took away from it for me; overall though, I would suggest this book to anyone! especially someone who is struggling with fitting in or accepting themself or their circumstances
