This book is too perfect. The quick synopsis is Mariana is a psychologist who tries to help her niece with a murder in the college they both attended to. I recommend that you read Alex Michaelides’s first book The Silent Patient because the maidens do reference it and you always want to get the references. Every detail matters stuff that was mention at the beginning of the book I never thought would matter later in it really did matter. This book kept me on edge from beginning to end and I really did not want it to end it was never-ending until you got to the end. If I had to say anything I did not like about the book was the lack of some characters I would of like to see more of Zoe or Sebastion. I also believe this book is well suited for all readers as a person who was strictly romance got me out of that genre and into a whole new genre that is nowhere near my comfort zone. It has been a week since I’ve read it and I have read three more books since then and I can not get this story out of my mind.
Moderate: Death, Emotional abuse, Genocide, Grief, Death of parent, and Murder
