Are all my reviews an incoherent mess? Yes. Will I learn to structure them properly and put stuff into words? Probably not. Sorry.
I was a bit sceptical in the beginning, but this book picked up fast and I very much enjoyed it. It easily has the most diverse characters in any book I've ever read in terms of gender identity and sexual orientations. We love to see it. The plot is very social justice oriented, so if that's not your cup of tea, you might wanna look for something else.
It's fast paced, funny and built on a world that takes a refreshing new take on fae. And there were definetely a couple of twists in there I didn't see coming.
While I normally try to avoid books written in first person, I got used to it very qucikly. I would've liked to see some other perspective than Wyatt as well, but not having it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story. Because we only get Wyatt's POV, he's the most developed character, and he feels very realistic.
If I were to nitpick, I really could've done without the awkward descriptions of hot people (Wyatt is very much a horny little shit), but I couldn't lower my rating based on just this.
