Lucy is visiting her father, in a hospital for Alzheimer patients, when a nurse calls her because he saw a body floating in the river. It seems a suicide, but the body is already embalmed. Why an embalmed body is in the river?
The book is very slow, there are too many cases and not enough policemen/women to assign to Lucy’s case, because there are fights in Belfast (I never studied the Northern Irish conflict so I don’t know what they are talking about, maybe i will document myself).
