I've been in the mood for cozy fantasy romance lately so I thought I'd give this one a go. Unfortunately I found it too unfocused in tone and setting, and rather boring. It tries to be fantasy, noir mystery, modern reality dating show, and regency comedy of manners all in one book and unfortunately succeeds in none of these.
