I would always say this after reading a Nisha Sharma book, I love her books and will always pick it up to read even if I do not know what it’s about, she is my go to author always. Taste Like Shakkar lived up to its hype for me. I was waiting for another Nisha Sharma Rom-Com.

Taste Like Shakkar is inspired by William Shakespeare comedy play Much ado about nothing. I have not read it yet but I do plan on it at some point. Again I love the characters Bobbie is my favourite we love a plus size queen! In media with desi heroine we don’t get positive plus size representation and I loved this representation in Taste Like Shakkar a Woman like Bobbi is also deserving of love. I loved the dedication at the beginning of the book by Sharma;

“This one is for the  people in my past who’ve judged me by my weight and underestimated my worth. Your poor math skills have only added to my value.”

There’s not much to say about Bunty he is cute and funny and cause he’s a chef and the mention of food every-time made me hungry!!!! He also really loves Bobbi and gives her a really cute pet name for her.

I am very excited for the 3rd book in the series with Veera and Deepak. And what shenanigans they get up to!
