I like this one just as much as the first book. However, the thing I hated about the first book was ten times worse in this one.

I really liked the atmosphere that the series is going for. I like the world building of the different islands and bringing in all the different characters from the Peter Pan story. We have to meet Hook and Smee this one. As well as hear about other characters like the Crocodile. Though I wanted more from Hook. He kinda sucked.

This one was just as spicy as the first one. I felt like it had a place, and the smut wasn't gratuitous. I really like that even though Winnie is submissive to the boys, she knows what she likes and owns that.  Feelings are growing throughout the book. The pacing of those growing feelings is really well done. It's not insta love. Instead, it's that growing feeling of 'there's something special about this one.'

Now to the reason why this one gets fewer stars than the first. What the hell was up with Cherry? Why would you write a female character like that? What is the point of that? It made me so angry. Her first chapter made me want to stab myself in the eye. And then her choice is later in the book. UGH!!! She's pathetic and needs some self respect. I really don't like the way this author writes about other women in comparison to Winnie. It is just absolutely unnecessary. With whom Cherry's brother is, there could've been a plot of betrayal or something instead of just being a pathetic whining girl. It is absolutely unnecessary to have Winnie, who's growing into herself and becoming a badass, and then you make Cherry pathetic and only about a guy. You don't need that dynamic. You don't need to pit women against each other for a guy just to add some more drama in your books.

Ok, rant over. That cliffhanger was insane and I absolutely started the next book already.
