Penelope's Passion by Maggie Sims

4.0

A story packed with passion, tempered by love and acceptance.
Michael has a firm hand on his life until he unwittingly punishes the wrong girl. Seeing her in the auction at his theatre he realizes instantly that he must have her. Thus begins a complete reinvention of everything he thought he wanted, the life he had settled to accept. To marry a ‘drab’ girl and have an acceptable marriage. He is quickly realizing that the last thing he wants is ‘drab’.
Michael and Penelope are not your standard ‘ton’ couple but the way they are with each other is so much more. They listen to each other, respect and encourage while unselfishly giving the other the freedom to make their own choices. Things are definitely heated and not just in the kitchen. A very engaging story.
