Batman: The Killing Joke by Alan Moore

4.0

Pretty brutal story that reveals a joker origin.

The Joker and Batman have basically been through exactly the same pain, but pain handled in totally opposite ways.

Quite dark and disturbing at times, especially the story line regarding Barbara! I would love to read more Batman comics like this - as this is how I always wanted the Joker to be - relatable but disturbed to the bone. This is one of the best executions I've seen of the actual joker character.

I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to understand why the joker is the way he is - as I've never known up until now.

I just wanted this to be a lot longer and a lot more in depth than it was! It left me wanting more more and more!
