pacing was wacky, and i perhaps find some of the reactions to near-death experiences... slightly? forgiveable? nah i change my mind they were so mild and one-and-done to the point that even the contrivance can't justify it.
and that epilogue pissed me off. you seriously let him do what he wanted over the person to whom the most harm was done??? ridiculous. can't believe it was the quick end rather than the far better alternative
language was pretty tho. the attempted sciences had me uhhhhh annoyed in the way of suspension of disbelief. but still the language was pretty. didn't make me like the book tho.
