I need to gush about Regretting You by Colleen Hoover. This was such a fantastic book, and I was so hooked from the beginning that I couldn’t put it down.
Colleen Hoover you have a way of crushing my heart and piecing it back one chapter at a time. The beautiful fluid story and your way with words is magical! This book was more than just a love story. It had heartbreak, grief, love, and betrayal.
My favourite part of the book was the mother-daughter relationship, and the dual perspectives of the book. It made me feel so many emotions all the time that I was left craving for more. I would have loved to hear more about the affair but I totally get what the author was trying to accomplish with the last chapter. So although I yelled in frustration, I was actually super happy with the end.
