Seems like I enjoyed this book more than most of the reviews I read. I do agree that it'd make a great movie. I'm honestly surprised I heard nothing about Thad before this, as I lived in Tampa during the time he would have been at Orient Road!
The only minor complaint I have is that the book started out with his letter to Rebecca, and says her name, and then we meet Thad and his wife Sonya. While most long distance relationships fizzle out, I took it as a dead giveaway that the two of them weren't going to make it work.
