My second Lucy Foley book, and I LOVED this one. It's definitely slow in the beginning, a lot of multi-pov books I've read recently are like that, but once all the characters come together it picks up in speed.
Big love for Olivia and Hannah.
It's definitely easy to figure out who the victim will be, but motives were a delight to learn. I really wish there had been another chapter, or a longer epilogue. The ending was satisfying, but not satisfying enough!
Big spoilers/speculation ahead:
I was just thinking about how Johnno was hella confusing, being existential at one moment, and then creepy and leery at the next. But I also clocked him as being secretly in love with Will from the beginning, so I'm realizing now that he was likely putting on a show. It's definitely not confirmed confirmed, more so the vibes. He says that he loved Will, but not *in love* so it could still be "platonic" in the way of roommates at an all boys school bonded by trauma.
Big love for Olivia and Hannah.
