it was honestly quite cute, though some did feel quite rushed and random, and i didnt really feel the "rivals" bit expect for certain parts, it was nice and a decently quick read for me.

• i really enjoyed the whole design and carpentry aspect as it relatively unique.
• the oliver/julian stuff i felt was under developed (how do you not harbour any anger towards your roommate for 'stealing' the girl you liked??) also, what even happened between them?? i feel like i mustve skipped over a chapter or two
• the whole san fransisco bit felt quite random??
• i did enjoy the library scene
• the scene where they like got together for the first time in detroit with that couple across the wall was a bit like woah
• why did she harbour such negative feelings towards him evem though she knew his dad had just died so obviously hes gonna push people away???
