Possibly the worst marketing for a book I've ever seen. This story has so much depth and nuance and raw p a i n. For anyone whose experienced trauma in the hands of brutal loved ones, this is a must-read. It's the perfect backdrop to nurse past trauma. Soft love, harsh cruelty side-by-side, as it often is. Just brilliant.
Graphic: Bullying, Child abuse, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Toxic relationship, Gaslighting, and Abandonment
Moderate: Mental illness, Physical abuse, Suicidal thoughts, Violence, Toxic friendship, and Alcohol
