when i first read a touch of ruin, i was devastated by lexa’s story. after reading this book, i think i got closure for what happened to her. i understood why she made the choice that she did, and i understood why persephone made her choices, too. everything about this series feels intentional, raw, and real, and i fully believe hades when he says that he would burn the world for persephone. his dedication, love, and connection to her never ceases to break my heart and make it full all at the same time.
