This was not at all what I'd expected. I picked it up based on recommendations from reviewers I normally get thriller recs from, and it's not really a thriller or very suspenseful, but it does have a really interesting psychological component. The way it's told is through multiple characters who are intertwined around one event and each perspective is written in a way that's very distinct, so you really do feel like you are transitioning from one character's POV to the next with each chapter. They way the story comes full circle at the end is just really well done to tie together all the different perspectives. It was a bit of a slow burn for me, but it was definitely a unique, well written story.
